Ben and Moby are going to see a movie, but they can’t decide which one to see. After checking out the movie posters, they finally agree on one that looks good to both of them. In this lesson, the students review the different ways to express the future in English.
Students will:
- identify different forms and uses of the future tense by creating a table.
- match sentences to the different uses of future on the table.
- do a Connect Two activity with the new vocabulary words.
- predict what will happen at different points throughout the movie.
- differentiate between planned and unplanned activities in the future tense.
- predict what will happen next in response to a picture.
- identify which form of the future tense they hear in a game.
