As Ben, Moby, Nikki, and Ed look through a book of world records, they come across the strangest records. They learn about the heaviest lemon, the longest snake, and the fastest woman athlete. This inspires Moby to look for a record he can set, too. As the students follow Ben and his friends, they learn the Superlative form of Adjectives and Adverbs.
Students will:
- do an Open Word Sort with a partner, with the new vocabulary words.
- identify the Superlative form of adjectives and adverbs, and categorize the different forms in a chart.
- construct sentences using the Superlative form.
- differentiate between the metric and the US standard systems of measurement, and learn some of the basic terms.
- conduct a class survey using Superlative adjectives and adverbs.
- find examples of the Superlatives in the movie.
